New Film Live :- The Baby Posing Coat

Baby Posing Coat

The film gives you an insight in to using and getting the best out of the Baby Posing Coat product by Lastolite and how to best use it when shooting. Mark Cleghorn demonstrates the simplicity of the product and how to use the Baby Posing Coat when shooting in the studio. The fabric coat effectively becomes the background of the shots without being obvious the parent is involved. The hood can ‘disguise’ the head of the parent for ‘over the shoulder’ shots. The large sleeves allow the hands to be hidden or exposed.

The new baby posing coat is made of a soft velvet-like light absorbing fabric. The coat allows the parent to maintain contact with the child, reducing the child’s stress and anxiety, which can often prevent the shoot from running smoothly. It is also easier to manipulate the child into positions not achievable with traditional posing devices, yet still remain firmly held by the parent.

The cape like ‘one size fits all’ design is secured with hook and loop fastenings.
