Kenny Shoots 12 Strangers!

Image taken from the film "Kenny Shoots 12 Strangers"

PT4U Portrait Master Kenny Martin loves to shoot street photography. When Carl and Jay from the video team went to spend a few days in Scotland with Kenny to film his next films for PT4U they spent a morning in the heart of Edinburgh shooting some films on how Kenny shoots his street portraits.

Kenny has three strands to his street photography.

The first is his Street Portraits, this is where he approaches people on the street and asks if he can shoot them and then has control over the image.

The second is his Observational Street photography, this is where he captures shots from a distance of people usually with a long lens.

The finally his From The Hip street photography, this is where the the camera is literally on his hip with a wide lens and shooting without being noticed.

Kenny has been shooting the streets for years but it was a PT4U member Tina Chatfield that inspired him to make the films on Street Portraits.
