A wedding doesn't have to be just one day!

On PT4U we go out of our way to show our members how to create opportunities to increase sales and profits. As a wedding photographer it is key to remember that it is not all about the wedding day. You'll see in PT4U that most of the real weddings that we have been able to shoot that most of the couples have had a pre-wedding shoot. This we do for two reasons, the first is for Mark to meet the couple and get a feel of how they will photograph and for them to get used to him and make them feel at ease and relaxed about the photography on their big day. Then secondly this is an ideal opportunity to increase sales if the shoot is done early enough.

So we have talked about pre-wedding shoots but we have found allot of photographers hadn't thought about an after wedding shoot. Most brides love the idea of getting dressed up again and most grooms by then will do as their wife tells them. The great advantage to this is that you will not be under the pressure and the time constraints you often are under on the wedding day.

These after wedding shoots are often a great way to get outside of the box and shoot something a little different. Again a key point is to shoot images different to those taken on the wedding day to give yourself the chance to sell more. On PT4U we asked one of our real wedding couples if they would come and spend the day with us so we could shoot at several locations so we could show our members the sort of locations we use for our after wedding shoots.
