Lets print some money!

We at PT4U have another name for the Dye Sub Printer we call it the Cash Machine. It really is a way to print money. After our interviewing our events master Jeremy Nako and shooting some films with him on some of his real jobs it became clear that events is away to make some serious money. This being said you must do things right. The key is to be able to produce a studio quality print on the night and having the facility to sell it there and then.

The art of shooting events is to shoot the image and have the client view it, choose the image to buy, print it, place the print in their hands and the money in yours in just a few minutes. You may think this sounds impossible. We assure it isn't! You do need the right setup and is not a one man job. To start with there is a cost to setting yourself up but we are convinced that when correctly you will make back your initial costs in no time and then literally will printing yourself cash.

To start as I mentioned before you can't do anything without an image to sell. So step one is having the ability to create a studio portrait on location. Taking your own lighting and background and making sure in advance you will have a power supply. Then you need to get the image to your sales person to show the client. Jeremy recommends you do this via a wireless device to work between your camera and computer. Once with your sales person you will need a screen to preview the images to the client. Then of course you need to be able to print and quickly. This is where the Mitsubishi Dye Sub printers come into play. By far some of the best printers on the market for the job.

If events is something you already do or thinking about getting in to then check out Jeremy's films on PT4U, they cover the basics and also the types of events there is money to be made from. To see Jeremy's films click HERE and for more information on the Mitsubishi printers click HERE
